What Are Postcard Stamps?
Postcard stamps are a type of postage that is specifically designed for postcards. They are different from regular stamps in a few ways. For one, they are usually cheaper because they are a standard size. Additionally, postcard stamps can be bought in bulk, which can save you money if you send out a lot of postcards. While postcard stamps may seem like a small thing, they can actually make a big difference in your budget and your ability to send out mail.
How to use postcard stamps?
Assuming you already have a postcard, here are the steps to using postcard stamps:
- Find the right stamp. In the United States, postcard stamp currently costs 48 cents. If you're sending your postcard internationally, requires the use of Global Stamps, which is $1.45.
- Apply the stamps to the upper right corner of your postcard. Make sure they're affixed properly so they don't fall off in transit.
- Address your postcard using a felt-tip pen or other permanent marker. Include both the recipient's address and your return address in the event that your postcard gets lost along the way.
- Drop your postcard in a mailbox and wait for it to arrive at its destination!
